    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a honeycomb structure for recovering waste heat in exhaust gas by passing exhaust gas and gas to be heated alternately through a channel against damage at the time of removing low temperature solidification components by setting the cell aperture on the side for introducing exhaust gas and gas to be heated larger than that at a hollow section. SOLUTION: The honeycomb heat accumulator 1 is constructed by stacking a plurality of rectangular prism honeycomb structures 2 so that channels each comprising a through hole 3 are arranged in one direction. For example, upper high temperature side honeycomb structure 2 touches exhaust gas and lower low temperature side honeycomb structure 2 touches a measuring gas. Cell apertures of the high temperature side and low temperature side honeycomb structures 2 are set larger than that of the central honeycomb structure 2. Preferably, the honeycomb structures 2 comprise alumina, cordierite, mullite, aluminum titanate, silicon carbide, zirconia, ceramic, or the like.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an exhaust gas filter for separating minute particles whose main component is carbon deposited on an exhaust gas filter by air flow, so as to regenerate the exhaust gas filter, and maintaining the good collecting function of minute particles without increasing pressure loss of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust gas filter 10, a honeycomb structural body is used for an exhaust gas filter, and first sealing part 21 is formed on the end of the exhaust gas downstream side of a same line gas circulating hole 12, and a second sealing part is formed on the end of the exhaust gas upstream side of the same line gas circulating hole 12, and sub pulse air flow introducing holes 23 are formed by penetrating inner walls 11 and an outer wall 13 in the same line direction near the exhaust gas upstream side of the first sealing part 21. Sub pulse air flow is injected from the outside of the outer wall 13 of the exhaust gas filter 10 into this sub pulse air flow introducing holes 23, thereby minute particles deposited near the first sealing part 21 are separated.
