摘要： Apparatus, methods, computer program products, and software are disclosed providing reduction of interference occurring sometime after a capacity booster cell activates, where a coverage area of a capacity booster cell is at least partially within a coverage area of a coverage cell. Techniques include handing off user equipment from the coverage cell to the capacity booster cell, creating by the capacity booster cell scheduling gaps in subframes of radio frames and scheduling user equipment connected to the capacity booster cell in the subframes not in the gaps, scheduling communications for user equipment connected to the coverage cell in the gaps, and performing one or more operations to reduce interference with the capacity booster cell for uplink transmissions from user equipment to the coverage cell.

摘要： Systems and techniques are described for scheduling communication by half-duplex devices. One or more half-duplex devices informs a base station that it is capable only of half-duplex operation. For each such device, the base station configures a transmit/receive pattern comprising sequences of uplink and downlink subframes and applies the pattern to the device. The half-duplex device may receive during a downlink subframe and may transmit during an uplink subframe. Uplink and downlink subframes within a pattern are separated by an offset based at least in part on a number of hybrid automatic repeat request processes.

摘要： A communication is provided that schedules both Distributed Virtual Resource Blocks (DVRB) and Localized Virtual Resource Blocks (LVRB) in a same frequency channel, thereby obtaining the benefits of frequency selective scheduling while minimizing the uplink feedback overhead. In one embodiment of the invention, the communication system assigns one or more downlink Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) of multiple downlink Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) to each user equipment (UE) given an LVRB to produce at least one reserved PRB and multiple non-reserved PRBs and assigns a part of each PRB of the multiple non-reserved PRBs to a UE given a DVRB. In another embodiment of the invention, the communication system assigns PRBs pre-reserved for localized transmission to UEs scheduled for LVRBs and assigns parts of multiple PRBs pre-reserved for distributed transmission to each UE given a DVRB.
