    • The present invention provides a resin composition for a solar cell package and a resin composition for a wet solar cell package which are excellent in transparency, moisture resistance, weather resistance and chemical resistance and are suitable as a material of a package for a solar cell, and a package for a wet solar cell and a transparent substrate for a wet solar cell which are obtained by molding the resin composition. The resin composition for a solar cell package of the present invention contains a cyclic olefin polymer having one kind or two or more kinds of structures represented by the following general formula (1) (provided that, in the formula, x and y represent the copolymerization ratio and are a real number satisfying 0/100≦y/x≦95/5. n is the number of substitution of a substituent Q and an integer of 0≦n≦2. R1 is a 2+n valent group selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon groups having 2 to 20 carbon atoms. R2 is a hydrogen atom, or a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon groups having 1 to 10 carbon atoms containing carbon and hydrogen atoms. R3 is a tetravalent group selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon groups having 2 to 10 carbon atoms. Q is COOR4 (R4 is a hydrogen atom, or a monovalent group selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon groups having 1 to 10 carbon atoms containing carbon and hydrogen atoms)).

    • A cyclic olefin resin composition which can be suitably used as a material for a substrate having low permittivity, low dielectric tangent, low water absorbability, excellent heat resistance, and the like, and a substrate obtained from the resin composition are provided. In particular, there is provided a novel cyclic olefin resin composition that can be suitably used as a material for a substrate for high frequency circuit dealing with high frequency signal transmission. The cyclic olefin resin composition comprises (A) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a cyclic olefin polymer having a glass transition temperature of 60 to 200° C. and (B) 5 to 95 parts by weight of a flexible copolymer, prepared by polymerizing at least two monomers selected from the group consisting of an olefin compound, a diene compound and an aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon compound, and having a glass transition temperature of 0° C. or below. The cyclic olefin resin composition further comprises, based on 100 parts by weight of total amount of the components (A) and (B), (D) 0.01 to 5 parts by weight of a radical initiator and (E) 0 to 5 parts by weight of a polyfunctional compound having in its molecule two or more radically polymerizable functional groups.

    • A seat for a small watercraft includes a shock-absorbing member that helps to absorb shocks transmitted to the seat during watercraft operation. The seat and the watercraft are configured to protect the shock-absorbing member from heat and water damage. The watercraft includes a hull having a length and a width. The hull carries an engine and includes a raised pedestal. A plurality of ventilation devices are located along the length of the hull. The seat is supported by the raised pedestal and includes a seat base, a cushion arrangement, and a seat skin that substantially covers the cushion arrangement. The cushion arrangement includes a cushion and the aforementioned viscoelastic member. A seal is provided between the seat base and the raised pedestal to protect the viscoelastic member from water damage. The viscoelastic member is provided at least partially between a pair of the ventilation devices. The seat base includes a first base portion and a second base portion and a plurality of air flow openings. The first base portion is located under the cushion and the second base portion is located under the viscoelastic member. The area of the air flow openings in the first base portion is greater than the area of the air flow openings in the second base portion. Providing a greater air flow opening area in the first base portion of the seat base and providing the viscoelastic at least partially between the ventilation devices helps to protect the viscoelastic member from heat damage.
