    • A control system for a switched reluctance (SR) machine is provided. The control system may include a converter circuit that is operatively coupled to the SR machine, and a controller in communication with the converter circuit. The controller may be configured to execute two or more processes in parallel, wherein the processes include generating a torque command based on one or more of bus voltage, machine current, rotor speed and rotor position, determining a first set of current control parameters based on the torque command and the rotor speed, determining a second set of current control parameters based on one or more of the torque command, the rotor speed and the rotor position, selecting one of the first and second sets of current control parameters based on the rotor speed, and operating the gates according to the selected set of current control parameters.

    • A method includes generating a regulated voltage for a powered component and modifying the regulated voltage with an adaptive voltage scaling (AVS) control loop. The method also includes further modifying the regulated voltage using at least one additional control loop. The AVS control loop is isolated from the at least one additional control loop. Modifying the regulated voltage with the AVS control loop could include storing an AVS digital value and converting the AVS digital value into an analog signal. Modifying the regulated voltage with the AVS control loop could also include modifying a control signal for a voltage regulator using the analog signal, where the voltage regulator generates the regulated voltage. Modifying the regulated voltage with the AVS control loop could further include buffering the analog signal and outputting the buffered analog signal as an isolated AVS signal over the AVS control loop.

    • A method and apparatus is arranged to produce high precision output voltage matching in a multiple output power converter. A two-output voltage converter includes a positive and a negative voltage output that are approximately equal in magnitude. The power converter includes inductors, transfer capacitance circuitry, and a controlled switching circuit. In one operating mode, the switching circuit is closed, the inductors are charged, and energy from the input signal is stored in the transfer capacitance circuitry. In a second operating mode, the switching circuit is opened, and the stored energy is transferred to the output loads. The transfer capacitance circuitry is arranged to provide improved matching in the output voltages. The two-output power converter topology may be extended to provide multiple outputs.
