摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hammer drill from causing an off-off condition of three modes even if it is shifted with two levers. SOLUTION: A rotary lever 8 for shifting rotational transmission to a bit is formed with a chamfering part 52 and a slide lever 9 for switching over driving action to the bit is formed with a cutout part 53 and a plane surface 54 conforming to the rotary lever 8. The rotary lever 8 is in a rotation intercepted position when the rotary lever 8 is fitted to the cutout part 53 at the slide lever 9 in the lowest limit position (the driving transmission position) so the slide lever 9 is checked to slide to the upper limit position (the driving intercepting position) and when the slide lever 9 is in the upper limit position with the chamfering part 52 of the rotary lever 8 in the right end position (the rotation transmitting position), the plane surface 54 approaches the chamfering part 52 and rotating operation of the rotary lever 8 to the rotation intercepting position is checked.
