摘要： PURPOSE:To project out a movable water discharging gutter to the lower part of the top plate of an adjacent hatch cover while freely operating a clamping fitting and enable each hatch cover to be freely opened and closed by providing an interlocking mechanism on the lifting recess of each of plural hatch covers for a large hatch in which a longitudinal beam is omitted. CONSTITUTION:A large hatch 2 is opened over the whole width of an upper deck 060, and plural hatch covers 7-9 are provided on a hatch edge member 1 formed with side edges 3, 4, top plates 5, and seal bars 6. Lifting recesses 10a-10d which is engaged with the twist lock pin of the cargo-working spreader of a container crane are provided on the top face of the hatch covers 7-9. Clamping fittings can be operated by rotating the lifting recesses 10a, 10b on both side hatch covers 7, 9 via interlocking rods 35. The lifting recesses 10c, 10d on the center hatch cover 8 enables a movable water discharging gutter to be projected out to the lower part of the top plates of both side hatch covers 7, 9 through an interlocking rod 28. And, each of the hatch covers can be freely opened and closed regardless of their order.

摘要： PURPOSE:To keep hatch covers in a rain and wind tight state or to release the state automatically, by turning a small cover in a longitudinal passage by actuating a turning mechanism such that it covers a space between confronting drain passage when both adjacent hatch covers are placed on an upper portion of an edge member. CONSTITUTION:When hatch covers 4, 5 are lowered to prescribed closing positions and a gasket seal 7 is seated on a hatch cover edge member 2 pressed against the upper portion of a seal bar 3, an end 21a of a lever 21 is depressed by a pressing plate 23 and its other end 21 is lifted to move a link plate 18 upwardly against a spring 12 so that a lever 16 turns clockwise about a pin 11. Then, a small cover 14 in a longitudinal passage turns to a position shown by a solid line, a gasket 15 is pressed into contact with the upper portion of the seal bar so that rain and water tightness is created automatically as the hatch covers 4, 5 are closed. Next, when the hatch covers 4, 5 are opened, the rain and wind tightness is automatically released by lifting them, respectively. Thus, when a plurality of hatch covers are opened, an order for opening them is not necessary to be set. Therefore, rain and water tightness is automatically set by opening and closing hatch covers.

When the hatch cover 4 is to be opened, the twist lock pin 6 is inserted into the hatch cover 4 and is rotated 90 deg. to be engaged with the hatch cover 4, the rod 11 is shortened by its rotation, the drain trough 13' is withdrawn and removed from the adjacent hatch cover 4, thus the hatch cover 4 can be opened.
