    • PURPOSE:To read the degradation of a high voltage conductor supporting insulating spacer with high accuracy and avoid creeping tracking failure by monitoring the failure using a photoelectric converter and a measuring means which is connected to its output end through a measuring window. CONSTITUTION:For example, the arc light at the cut-off of the breaker 5 is prevented from being directly incident on the photoelectric converter 7 through the front shutter 8 of the dark room 15 enclosing the photoelectric converter 7. Sulfuric gas hexafluoride is also prevented from being leaked by the acrylic plate 14. The partial discharge emission generated when the surface leak resistance of the supporting insulating spacer 3 decreases remarkbly is observed by opening the shutter with the driving unit 9. The output signal of the photoelectric converter 7 with a photoelectric multiplier which is driven by a DC power source is measured by the micro- potentiometer 11 or synchroscope 12 and observed for a long period of time by connecting the recorder 13 to the micro-potentiometer 11.

    • PURPOSE:To equalize a voltage share of each part of a light guide, and to prevent a drop of a creeping flashover voltage by winding a semiconductive member having an insulation resistance which is lower than the light guide, to the outside circumference of the light guide. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductive tape being a semiconductive member 5 whose insulation resistance is lower by 1-3 digits or so than a light guide 1 is wound spirally to the outside circumference of a lot of light guides 1, and connected electrically to supporting metallic fittings 2, 3. According to such a constitution, in case when a DV voltage is applied to the light guide 1, the greater part of a leakage current flows to the tape 5, therefore, the light guide itself exists as an insulator of a high resistance. Accordingly, a voltage share of each part of the light guide is equalized irrespective of a constituting material quality of each part of the light guide, and also a drop of a creeping flashover voltage can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To equalize a voltage share of each part of a light guide, and to prevent a drop of a creeping flashover voltage by providing a resistor having an insulation resistance which is lower than the light guide, and connecting a supporting part and a middle position of the light guide to the resistor. CONSTITUTION:A resistor 7 having a resistance value which is lower than by 1-3 digits or so than an insulation resistance of a light guide 10 is provided, and supporting metallic fittings 4, 5 and a middle position of the light guide 10 are connected electrically by connecting metallic fittings 8, 9. According to such a constitution, in case when a DC voltage is applied to the light guide 10, the greate part of a leakage current flows to the resistor 7, the light guide 10 exists as an insulator of a high resistance, a voltage distribution of the creeping direction is equalized, and a concentration of a voltage in the vicinity of the supporting metallic fittings 4, 5 is softened. Therefore, a voltage share of each part of the light guide is equalized, and a drop of a creeping flashover voltage can be prevented.
