    • An air conditioning system comprising: a refrigerant circuit which is constituted by connecting a compressor (1), a four way reversing valve (2), an indoor heat exchanger (3), a first pressure reducing device (4) and an outdoor heat exchanger (5) in that order; characterized in that it comprises: a thermal storage heat exchanger (6) which is arranged between the first pressure reducing device (4) and the outdoor heat exchanger (5), and which forms a thermal storage device (1) together with a thermal storage material (14); a second pressure reducing device (21) arranged between the thermal storage heat exchanger (6) and the outdoor heat exchanger (5); a thermal storage bypass circuit (11) for bypassing the first pressure reducing device (4), the thermal storage heat exchanger (6) and the second pressure reducing device (21), and having a third pressure reducing device (22) and a two way medium pressure side valve (12) therein; a three way valve (23) arranged between the outdoor heat exchanger (5) and the four way reversing valve (2); and a thermal storage releasing bypass circuit (8) arranged between the three way valve (23) and the compressor (1) to bypass the four way reversing valve (2), and having a thermal storage releasing heat exchanger (10), which forms the thermal storage device (13); wherein at the time of a heating and thermal storage operation a refrigerant is circulated through the compressor (1), the four way reversing valve (2), the indoor heat exchanger (3), the first pressure reducing device (4), the thermal storage heat exchanger (6), the second pressure reducing device (21), the outdoor heat exchanger (5), the three way valve (23), the four way reversing valve (2) and the compressor (1) in that order; and wherein at the time of a heating kickoff operation or a heating and defrosting operation the refrigerant is circulated through the compressor (1), the four way reversing valve (2), the indoor heat exchanger (3), the thermal storage bypass circuit (11), the outdoor heat exchanger (5), the three way valve (23), the thermal storage releasing bypass circuit (8) and the compressor (1) in that order.

    • A heat exchanger mounted in an air condition is constructed such that at least one row of heat conduction pipe groups are arranged so as to obstruct an air passage. Each heat conduction pipe groups is constructed such that a plurality of heat conduction pipes 22 are arranged in parallel with each other and a fine wire 23 made of a metallic material having excellent heat conductivity is spirally wound around each adjacent heat conduction pipes 22. Thus, performances of the heat exchanger can be improved without a possibility that the air conditioner is designed with larger dimensions. In addition, the heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat conduction pipes 39 arranged in the form of at least one row with a constant distance between adjacent ones and a plurality of twisted wires 40. The twisted wires 40 are arranged so as to alternately come in contact with one side and opposite side of each heat conduction pipe 39 extending at a right angle relative to the row direction of each heat conduction pipe 39, and moreover, alternately come in contact with one side and opposite other side of each heat conduction pipe 39 extending in the longitudinal direction. With this construction, high heat conductivity can be realized, and an occurrence of clogging with dew droplets can be prevented while maintaining a heat conduction area.
