摘要： The invention concerns a method and an equipment for regulation of the initi al part of the dryer section in a paper machine. Moisture is removed from the paper web in the press section (10) and the paper web is dried in the dryer section (R). The paper web is dried against heated faces of drying cylinders (20). The surface temperatures of the first drying cylinders (20) in the dryer section (R) are measured. The dry solids content/moisture content of the paper web (W) and the temperature of the paper web (W) before said first drying cylinders (20) are measured. In view of producing the desired running situation, based on t he measurement results obtained, the surface temperatures of said first drying cylinders (20) and/or the dry solids content/moisture content and/or the temperature of the paper web (W) before said first drying cylinders (20) is/are regulated.

摘要： The calender comprises a frame (R) and a roll stack (A) supported on the frame. The roll stack comprises a top roll (11) and a bottom roll (12) as well as intermediate rolls (21-26) supported by means of articulated arms on the frame. In the first operating state, some of the intermediate rolls (21-23) are supported by means of a pivot point (42a) of an articulated arm (42) on a first support member (100) detachably attached to the frame of the calender. The top roll (11) or the bottom roll (12) is additionally supported on the frame of the calender by means of a first detachable intermediate member (110). In the second operating state, the first support member (100) is replaced with a second support member (120) detachably attached to the frame of the calender in place of the first support member. The lowermost roll (220) of an upper roll stack (B) and the uppermost roll (230) of a lower roll stack or both are stationarily supported on the second support member (120), and an intermediate roll (21) or intermediate rolls formed at the second support member is/are supported by means of pivot points (41a) of the articulated arms (41) on the second support member (120). The first intermediate member (110) is removed, the top roll (11) or the bottom roll (12) being attached directly or by means of a second intermediate member to the frame of the calender.

摘要： The invention relates to a paper/board manufacturing method, in which a paper/board web is re-moistened at some point between wet pressing (I) and rewinding (VI), and to an apparatus for implementing the method. In the method, prior to re-moistening, a paper/board web is calendered and/or dried in at least one operation (III) with a metal-belt calender type processing assembly (1), comprising a metal belt (2) adapted to travel around at least one guide element (3), outside said belt being provided at least one counter-element (5) creating a contact surface with the belt, such that between the belt and the counter-element is established a web processing zone (N), the web to be processed being passed therethrough. In the processing assembly, the processing zone length is adjustable by way of arranging the belt guide element and/or shaping the counter-element. Downstream of re-moistening (IV), the paper/board web is subjected to final calendering (V) with a desired calendering technique.
