The circuit board includes a first connector to connect with a second connector of the electronic component. A mounting hole is defined beside the first connector. The fastener includes a supporting plate. A bottom of the supporting plate includes a first protrusion abutting against a top of the circuit board, and a second protrusion deformably extending through the mounting hole to abut against a bottom of the circuit board. A top of the supporting plate includes a supporting protrusion. A pair of spaced engaging portions protrudes from a top of the supporting protrusion. The engaging portions extend through the mounting hole to allow the electronic component to be supported on the supporting protrusion.

A protrusion and a hook protrude from an inner surface of each sidewall. The bracket includes a fixing plate for mounting a number of fans, and two end plates. The resilient plates are mounted to inner surfaces of the end plates. Each resilient plate defines a hooking hole overlapping one of the second slots.     • An apparatus for mounting a hard disk drive (HDD) includes a base board and a casing for receiving the HDD. A number of engaging portions and a holding portion protrude from the base board. The holding portion defines a through hole. The casing includes a bottom wall defining a number of fixing holes and a front wall perpendicular to the bottom wall. Each fixing hole includes a first hole and a second hole communicating with the first hole. A width of the first hole is greater than a width of the second hole. A fixing member is mounted on an outer surface of the front wall. The engaging portions extend through the first holes, respectively. The casing is then slid toward the holding portion, until the fixing member engages in the through hole and the engaging portions engage in the corresponding second holes.

The connector pushes the resilient piece toward the fixing plate, and then the connector is slid along the opening toward the first end of the opening, to allow the protrusion to engage with a front surface of the fixing plate. The resilient piece is restored and abuts an end wall of the block.
