    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing and allocating an RACH preamble according to a cell radius of a base station irrespective of a length of a guard time (GT).SOLUTION: A method for transmitting an RACH preamble comprises the steps of: receiving, by user equipment, information that is associated with predetermined preambles for a random access, from a base station; and transmitting, by the user equipment, an RACH preamble selected from the predetermined preambles according to the information, to the base station. The RACH preamble has a preamble format defined by a time-length value of a predetermined CP and either a time-length value of a first sequence or a second sequence, the time-length value of the second sequence is two times the time-length value of the first sequence, and the selected RACH preamble is configured only with the predetermined CP and either the first sequence or the second sequence without a time length of a guard time.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting a cyclic shift sequence to a frequency offset.SOLUTION: One embodiment of the present invention includes processes of calculating distance between alias channel response positions of sequences to be generated by the channel response positions of the sequences and frequency offsets, calculating the number of cyclic shifts for every group constituting the sequences by sections of the calculated distance, and setting cyclic shift application sections. Even when an input signal is shifted by channel delay diffusion and radiowave delay, the cyclic shift application sections are set by a simple method at positions which do not overlap each other in consideration of channel responses of reception sequences and positions of aliases of the reception sequences to sharply reduce detection errors and erroneous alarm ratio by the frequency offsets. When the sequences to which the cyclic shifts are applied are allocated to cells whose frequency offsets are at a predetermined level or higher, influences of the frequency offsets are minimized in high mobility cells.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting a cyclic shift sequence to a frequency offset.SOLUTION: One embodiment of the present invention includes the processes of calculating a distance between a channel response position of a sequence and an alias channel response position of the sequence caused by a frequency offset, calculating the number of cyclic shifts per group constituting the sequence according to an interval of the calculated distance, and setting a cyclic shift applying interval. Even when a reception signal is shifted by channel delay spreading or radio wave delay, the cyclic shift applying interval is set by an easy method at a position not overlapping with each other in consideration of a channel response of a reception sequence and an alias position of the reception sequence, so that detection errors and a false alarm rate due to the frequency offset are greatly reduced. When a sequence to apply the cyclic shift is allocated to a cell having the frequency offset at or above a prescribed level, influence of the frequency offset on a high-mobility cell can be minimized.
