    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process and an apparatus for producing a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin pellet, which can successively supply a reinforcing fiber bundle to an impregnation dye for a long time, without causing failure when switching connected coils.
      SOLUTION: The reinforcing fiber bundle R is unwound from the connected coils 11 and 12 in order. The fiber bundle R is unwound from the outer side in a non-rotating manner. Core guides 120 are inserted inside the coils 11 and 12. Guides for unwinding fibers 110 are provided at an upper side of the coils 11 and 12.
