    • The amplifier includes first and second inverters that form a flip-flop. In this flip-flop, an input of first inverter is connected to an output of the second inverter, and an output of the first inverter is connected to an input of the second inverter. Control terminals of at least one transistors (MN1, MN2) of first and second transistor pairs (MP1, MN1 and MP2, MN2) that constitute first and second inverters, respectively, are connected to inputs of first and second inverters through first and second capacitances (C1, C2), respectively. At resetting, inputs (1, 2) and outputs (OUT, OUTB) of first and second inverters are not mutually cross-connected, wherein a reference signal (VR) is supplied in common to inputs (1, 2) of the first and second inverters. The one transistors (MN1, MN2) are diode-connected. Voltage differences between reference signal (VR) and respective control terminals of the one transistors are stored in the first and second capacitances (C1, C2), respectively. At signal input, diode connections of the one transistors (MN1, MN2) are released. Inputs (1, 2) of the first and second inverters are disconnected from the reference signal. First and second input signals (S1, S2) are supplied to inputs (1, 2), respectively. Then, inputs and outputs of first and second inverters are mutually cross-connected, forming the flip-flop. The amplifier with high-speed and highly reliable operation does not depend on variations in devices therein.

The display device of the present invention comprises: a main substrate having display pixels being arranged in matrix, a scanning line electrode array, a signal line electrode array, and a frame part formed in an edge of the substrate along the scanning line electrode array and the signal line electrode array; a scanning line driving element mounted to the frame part along the scanning line electrode array; a signal line driving element mounted to the frame part along the signal line electrode array; and a flexible flat cable for supplying a signal and a power to the driving circuits of the scanning line driving element and the signal line driving element. The width of the frame part to which the signal line driving element is mounted is approximate to the width of the signal line driving element, and the width of the frame part to which the scanning line driving element is mounted is approximate to the width of the scanning line driving element. The length of at least the scanning line driving element or the signal line driving element is set shorter than the respective frame part so as to keep a space for mounting the flexible flat cable.

    • The process of the invention determines whether toners of cyan (C), magenta (M), and yellow (Y) are all included in toner filled in a toner cartridge 40, based on color information of the toner read from a storage element 50 of the toner cartridge 40 (S100 and S110). When the toners of all these colors are included in the toner cartridge 40, the process sets parameter values for a color image to control parameters (a fixation temperature T, a fixation pressure P, and a preliminary revolving frequency R) of a fixation process (S120). When the toners of all these colors are not included in the toner cartridge 40, on the other hand, the process specifies formation of a monochromatic image and sets parameter values for the monochromatic image to the control parameters (S130). This arrangement effectively ensures adequate formation of a color image and a monochromatic image and desirably prevents excessive deterioration of constituents of an image formation device.
