    • In the present invention, a dye-sensitizing solar cell with which high open voltage (Voc) and high short-circuit current (Jsc) are obtained is provided even though a conductive polymer is used as a hole transport material, whereby high photoelectric conversion efficiency can be obtained. Disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell comprising a substrate, a first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer comprising a semiconductor and a sensitizing dye, a hole transport layer comprising a solid stale hole transport material, and a second electrode, wherein the solid state hole transport material contained in the hole transport layer comprises a conductive polymer formed by polymerizing a compound having a thiophene structure, and the hole transport layer has an ionization potential of 5.0-5.5 eV.
