摘要： The present invention relates to method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace and more particularly improvement of or relating to method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace in which annealing of the strip is continuously carried out in such a manner that gas serving to adjust temperature of the strip is blown toward the strip through a plurality of gas jet nozzles which are arranged on the one side or both the sides of the strip, wherein temperature and flow rate of the strip are properly determined to a required level in response to changing of the operating conditions such as heat cycle, line speed, thickness of strip, width of strip or the like.Further, the present invention relates to method and apparatus for heating a strip of metallic material in a continuous annealing furnace, wherein temperature of the strip is controlled to reach a target temperature by heating or cooling the strip by means of gas jet or the like having excellent respondency at a part of the heating zone in the continuous annealing furnace whereby irregular annealing of the strip is inhibited effectively.

摘要： A gas combustion treatment method for the combustion treatment of an ammonia-containing gas and a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas, the method comprising a first combustion treatment step in which the ammonia-containing gas, together with a fuel, is introduced and burned; a nitrogen oxide reduction step downstream of the first combustion treatment step, in which a portion of the hydrogen sulfide-containing gas or the ammonia-containing gas is introduced and the nitrogen oxides produced in the first combustion treatment step are reduced in a reducing atmosphere; and a second combustion treatment step downstream of the nitrogen oxide reduction step, in which the remaining hydrogen sulfide-containing gas, together with air, is introduced and burned. The present invention provides a combustion apparatus suitable for use as a combustion furnace for off-gases resulting from the wet purification of coal gasification gas.

摘要： SUPPORT DEVICE FOR MOVING METAL STRIP A support device for a moving strip comprises floaters arranged only below the moving strip for jetting fluid against a lower surface of the strip to float it. A plurality of upright baffle plates are provided on a pressure receiving surface of each the floater in opposition to the lower surface of the strip. The baffle plates extend in moving directions of the strip and are aligned with each other in width directions of the strip. Each the floater is provided with at least one support roll extending in a width direction of the strip and movable into a lower position and a higher position higher than the highest portion of the floater. With this arragement, the moving strip is stably supported without contacting any solid members, and pressurized fluid from the floaters is prevented from unduly escaping from clearances between the strip and the floaters. The support device is capable of supporting the strip not only by floaters in floating condition but also by at least one roll at each the floater as the case may be to reduce power cost and to prevent a leading end of the strip from collision with the floaters and other components when the strip is initially introduced into a treating apparatus for the strip.

摘要： A steel belt cooling apparatus is provided on both sides of a running steel belt. Each of the cooling apparatus is composed of a gas cushion type nozzle essentially consisting of two slit nozzles which extend in the lateral direction of the steel belt with each nozzle head inclined inwardly to each other and a flat plate provided between the slit nozzles. On the flat pate are provided a plurality of ribs extending from the slit nozzle on the upstream side to the slit nozzle on the downstream side and arranged across the width of the steel belt in parallel to each other. The ribs may be so provided that the height of the tips of the ribs may be the same as the height of the tips of the gas cushion nozzle.
