    • A fuel injection system which serves to supply fuel to a mixture-compressing, externally ignited internal combustion engine which includes an air flow rate member for actuating a metering and distribution valve, a flushing valve is disposed in an outlet line leading from each injection valve to a return flow line open when the engine is turned off and immediately after actuation of the ignition switch of the engine, enables a return flow via the outlet lines of the fuel flowing through the fuel supply line and the metering and distribution valve assembly to the injection valves until an electromagnetic valve drivable by a time control element opens a pressure line to a pressure chamber of the flushing valve, and the pressure prevailing in the pressure chamber opens a diaphragm connected to the movable valve parts of the flushing valve in such a manner that the flushing valve closes.     • A fuel injection system is used for direct injection of fuel into the combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine. The mounting device includes spring elements, which extend between a spring retainer of the fuel distribution line allocated to each fuel injector, and a spring retainer of the allocated fuel injector. The mounting device further includes a mounting bracket, common to all the fuel injectors, which extends from a mounting-bracket receiver of the fuel distribution line to mounting-bracket receiver of the fuel injectors. The spring elements brace the fuel distribution line and the fuel injectors against each other in such a way that the fuel distribution line and the fuel injectors are held in force-locking contact in their allocated mounting-bracket receivers, and after compressing the spring elements, the mounting bracket can be loosened and removed.

    • A fuel injection system is proposed which serves to adapt the fuel-air mixture as precisely as possible to operating conditions of the internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system includes metering valves, each of which is assigned a regulating valve whose movable valve element can be exposed on one side to the fuel pressure downstream of the respective metering valve and on the other side to a control pressure line defined on one end by a control pressure valve of the nozzle/impact plate type and on the other end by a control throttle. The control pressure valve has a permanent magnet and an electromagnet, the magnetic fluxes of which are guided via an armature in such a manner that in at least one air gap the magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnet and of the electromagnet extend in the same direction, while in at least one other air gap the magnetic fluxes of the permanent magnet and of the electromagnet extend in opposite directions. This kind of embodiment requires a substantially smaller triggering power on the part of the electromagnet. By reversing the exciter current of the electromagnet, the control pressure valve is opened widely enough that the control pressure engaging the regulating valves causes the closure of the regulating valves, and the injection of fuel is precluded.
