    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rapid processing of a polyolefin pipe to eliminate a returning deformation and also enhance the accuracy of a bent angle to stabilize the set angle permanently by fabricating the polyolefin pipe by bending the heated part of the pipe at a larger angle than an intended angle after heating the pipe at an softening temperature and again heating the part in an unrestrained state. SOLUTION: The center zone 1A of a polyolefin pipe 1 is heated by a heater at close to 130 deg.C which is a melt point temperature and this heated part 1A is insetted in a mold 2. Further, a bending angle θ at the mold 2 is set at 60 deg. so that an intended bending angle θ is, for example, set at 90 deg. to manufacture a bent pipe 3. Next, the polyolefin pipe 1 is once cooled in such a state that the pipe 1 is insetted in the mold 2, and is removed from the mold 2. After that, the pipe 1 is continuously soaked in a hot water at 60 deg.C for 12 hours. During soaking, the bent pipe 3 is gradually restored to a deformed shape, and after the lapse of about 12 hours, the deformation process comes to a stop to stabilize the shape. In this case, the reheating temperature is at such a high level as exceeding a maximum temperature which is conceivable under circumstances allowing the use of the polyolefin pipe 1. Thus it is possible to perform the thermal treatment rapidly and enhance the accuracy of the bending angle θ.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing of a pipe with a fused faucet by installing a heater in a state where a pipe end part is softened, inserting a core covered with a sleeve on the heater in the pipe end part, thereafter, extracting the sleeve and burying the heater by melting the pipe end part. SOLUTION: In case of manufacturing a pipe 10 with a fused faucet constituted by burying a heater 18 in an end part of a pipe main body 12, the heater 18 is installed on a molding part 24 of a core 20, and its outer periphery is covered with a thin part 34 of a sleeve 32. Thereafter, after an end part of a pipe 12' is softened, the end part is put over a guide part 26 of the core 20, it is put over the thin part 34 while expanding its diameter by a tapered part 28, and its head end is made contact with a contact part 36. Thereafter, when the sleeve 32 is extracted, the pipe 12' adheres to the molding part 24, and continuously a work coil is arranged in the circumference of the molding part 24, and the heater 18 is heated by switching on a high frequency electric source. Thereby, the pipe 12' is melted, and the fused faucet 16 is completed by filling melted resin in a clearance of the heater 18.
