    • The present invention relates to a pretreatment method for improving the functionality of raw materials for artificial stone, and to an apparatus for same. The pretreatment method for raw materials for artificial stone, for the process of removing moisture from and reforming surface characteristics of at least one or more raw materials for artificial stone, selected from a group consisting of diatomaceous earth, silica, wet silica gel, pearlite, dolomite, phlogopite, biotite, illite, stone flour, etc., comprises directly inserting a mesh-structured basket into a reactor, injecting a raw material into the basket, installing an ultrasonic generator in a lower portion of the reactor to radiate ultrasonic waves into the interior of the reactor, and supplying nitrogen from the bottom to the interior of the reactor to promote a reaction and thus removing moisture and reforming the surface of the material into a hydrophobic surface in a short amount of time. The pretreatment apparatus for raw materials for artificial stone comprises: a reactor for removing moisture from and reforming surface characteristics of at least one raw material for artificial stone; a basket mounted on protrusions formed within the reactor; and an ultrasonic generator and nitrogen injection means installed in the lower portion of the reactor. Thus, the method and the apparatus of the present invention can produce raw materials for artificial stone having superior functionality such as being water-resistant and lightweight and having heat-insulating properties, etc. in a short amount of time, thereby improving the functionality of artificial stone and enabling the production of artificial stone having economical advantages.

    • The present invention relates to a construction product material using sludge and to a method for producing same. The present invention uses the binder constituted only by inorganic substances, thus preventing the discharge of contaminants into the environment. Further, heavy metals or contaminants contained in the sludge are strongly bound to prevent a secondary contamination, and the natural curing process of the present invention enables construction product materials to be produced in an economically advantageous and simple manner.

An apparatus for preparing an aerogel using a widely known reactor for modifying a wet-gel into a hydrophobic aerogel has a stopper protrusion formed in the reactor such that a basket is arranged inside the reactor, and comprises an ultrasonic generator and nitrogen injection means installed in the lower portion of the reactor, whereby an aerogel can be prepared in a short amount of time and economical advantages can be achieved.
