    • Mobile device usage may be monitored and restricted by pushing enabling/disabling events from an administrator the device. The events impose a certain set of rules that can “lock” certain features provided by the device, according to permissions and pre-established policies, for a certain period of time. Such restricted periods may coincide with meetings or other events in which distractions should be kept to a minimum or be during regular, predetermined time periods. Preferably, the rules include conditional locks that allow a user to use a feature a reasonable number of times before the lock is activated to place the onus on the user for minimizing such distractions, while enabling the user to maintain access to such a vital communication tool. Cancel packets may also be used to not only control but to monitor the application of the rule sets and when certain conditions are breaches, which provides an employer with sufficient information to use in auditing device usage or in reprimanding users for misuse of a privilege such as the use of mobile data communications devices.

    • There is disclosed a system and method for visually representing the probability of SPAM messages on a mobile communication device. In an embodiment, the method comprises: obtaining a probability that a message is SPAM; and for each of one or more messages in a message list, visually representing the probability that a message is SPAM such that any differences in the probabilities as between messages are discernable from the visual representation. In another embodiment, the method further comprises: determining the percentage of the message downloaded to the mobile communication device; and displaying for each of one or more messages appearing in the message list an object or icon visually representing at least one of the probability that the message is SPAM, or the percentage of the message downloaded to the mobile communication device.

    • A nuclear reactor fuel assembly bottom nozzle to guide thimble attachment system and method allowing bottom nozzle removal and replacement without inverting the fuel assembly. At manufacture, a bottom-insertable, two-headed bolt secures the bottom nozzle adaptor plate to the guide thimble bottom end plug. The two-headed bolt is unthreadable in the guide thimble from the top of the upright fuel assembly. At reconstitution, a top-insertable bolt fastener secures the replacement or original bottom nozzle adaptor plate to the guide thimble bottom end plug. The bolt fastener is inserted in the guide thimble from the top of the upright fuel assembly. The bolt fastener is unthreadable in the guide thimble from the top of the upright fuel assembly for a second reconstitution. Less preferably, the bolt fastener also can be used for original manufacture (in place of the two-headed bolts previously discussed).

    • The hold-down plate of the top nozzle of a fuel assembly is interconnected to the upper extension members of the fuel assembly guide thimbles by an improved joint structure associated with each of a plurality of passageways through the hold-down plate which receives an upper end portion of each one of the guide thimble upper extension members. The improved joint structure includes an internal annular ledge on the hold-down plate within the passageway at a lower portion thereof so as to surround the upper end portion of the extension member, an annular recess on the upper end portion of the extension member, and an annular spring member fitted on the upper end portion of the extension member within the recess. The internal ledge and spring member interfere with one another so as to limit upward movement of the hold-down plate along the guide thimble extension member, while the spring member is resiliently yieldably for absorbing the energy of an impulse load applied to the hold-down plate so as to thereby limit transfer of the load to the guide thimble extension member.
