    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle thermocouple attaching mechanism capable of accurately measuring the temp. of the designated region of a nozzle without receiving the effect of the heat flow from the heater mounted on the nozzle in good response and reproducibility. SOLUTION: A heat insulating member 12 having a shape capable of hermetically sealing a large diameter temp.-sensitive member 11 and a thermocouple inserting hole 4 is mounted on the leading end part of a thermocouple 10 measuring nozzle temp. The thermocouple inserting hole 4 bored in a nozzle 1 at a predetermined region is formed into a shape having a production diameter capable of bringing the temp.-sensitive member 11 to a close contact state and the predetermined angle corresponding to the leading end part of the thermocouple 10 and the leading end part of the thermocouple 10 is inserted into the thermocouple inserting hole 4 under pressure by the ring-shaped pressing metal fitting 5 through the heat insulating member 12 and the thermocouple 10 is attached and fixed to the nozzle 1. The thermocouple inserting hole 4 is brought to a hermetically sealed state by the heat insulating member 12 and the contact area of the temp.-sensitive part of the thermocouple 10 can be increased by the temp.-sensitive member 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positively the counterflow of molten resin at a starting period of injection and dwelling operation and the flow of molten resin from a screw groove to a reservoir from the completion of a plasticizing process through the starting of an injection and dwelling process, and also accurately control the condition of resin immediately before flowing in the reservoir. SOLUTION: A torpedo 7 is disposed axially slidably within the cylinder head 4, and a screw head 3 is fittingly inserted slidably in the peripheral and axial direction. The torpedo 7 is formed to be advanced and retreated axially by means of torpedo linearly driving means 16, and during the period of a plasticiazing process, the torpedo 7 is retreated so as to create a space S between the conical inner wall surface 4a and the sealing part 7c isolated thereby from each other, so that molten resin flows into a reservoir 6 from the screw side through an outer wall groove 8a. At the completion of a plasticizing process, the torpedo 7 is advanced in order to bring the sealing 7c into contact with the conical inner wall surface 4a, thus, precluding molten resin from counter flowing positively in the starting period of a dwelling process.

    • PURPOSE:To control the quality of a molded product with high accuracy by calculating the pressure of the resin in a mold at a specific time and calculating a dwelling set value necessary for achieving the pressure of the resin and controlling dwell pressure on the basis of the calculated value. CONSTITUTION:At the point of time immediately before a screw advances at the beginning of the filling stage of a molten resin to a cavity, the temp. of the tip part of a nozzle, the temp. of a sprue part, the temp. of the wall surface of the cavity and the temp. of cooling water are measured and, on the basis of the measured values, the temp. of the resin in a mold at the time when the wt. of a molded product at a dwelling stage is decided is estimated. Subsequently, the pressure of the resin in the mold at this time is calculated from the estimation value and a dwelling set value is further calculated. At a dwelling stage, dwell pressure is controlled on the basis of this dwelling set value. By this constitution, the fluctuations of the quality of a molded product caused by a temp. change are eliminated by simple constitution without providing a resin pressure sensor and a resin temp. sensor in the mold and the molded product having high dimensional accuracy can be stably produced.
