    • A shift control device for vehicle is provided in which a first operating state (running state of a P-ECU 26, and a TURN-ON of a vehicle power supply), enabling detection of a reference position to control a P-lock drive motor 54 during an initial operation of an actuator during an initial operation of the P-lock drive motor 54, is switched to a second operating state (halt state of the P-ECU 26, and a TURN-OFF of the vehicle power supply) disabling the detection of the reference position.
