摘要： The supplementary data received are stored temporarily for a given amount of time at the receiver end. At a first command from the user, plain text data and optionally graphics data present in the supplementary data last received are displayed. If selection data are available, the user uses a variable marking system to select the desired telephone connection from those displayed. At a second command from the user, the telecommunication number associated with the desired telephone connection is taken from the supplementary data and relayed to a dialling arrangement (e.g. a modem) where the telecommunication number is if necessary supplemented with an apparatus number which identifies the user and is stored, for example, in a PROM.

摘要： When digitized audio signals are transmitted or stored through interference-affected channels, transmission faults are detected and if necessary corrected or veiled at the reception side. To veil the transmission faults, the faulty signal section is muted or replaced by a signal section that precedes the faulty signal section in the same channel or by a simultaneously transmitted, intact signal section in a neighbouring channel. When data-reduced, digital audio signals are used, that according to their source encoding are time and/or spectrally distributed, only the faulty spectral values or partial bands or faulty groups of spectral values or partial bands are veiled.

Alternately, the data channel contains a third series of dynamic additional information, which provides a preview of at least the titles and channels of the selected programmes on the transmitter side and whose content is related to the programme being momentarily broadcast in the programme channel (fig. 4). According to a third alternative, the data channel contains a second series of additional dynamic information representing key words and topics in relation to the content of the momentarily received programme.

摘要： The invention concerns a television or radio programme signal comprising supplementary data. The supplementary data contain one or a plurality of entry fields into which the user can input characters (numbers, letters and other characters) by means of a suitable device. At a first command from the user, plain text data and optionally graphics data present in the supplementary data last received are reproduced with the entry fields for a given amount of time. The user supplements the data by inputting characters into the entry fields provided for this purpose. In addition, the characters input by the user can if necessary be checked at the receiver end. At a second command from the user, the communication number and product number or selection identification are taken from the supplementary data last stored temporarily and relayed, together with the input characters, to a dialling system (e.g. a modem) where the telecommunication number is if necessary supplemented with an apparatus number which identifies the user and is stored, for example, in a PROM.

摘要： In order to require only a relatively small increase in data rate when the number of channels of multi-channel digitalised and bit rate reduced audio signals is increased, the psychoacoustic concealment by at least part of the remaining audio channels or the redundancy of individual audio channels is taken advantage of in each individual audio channel when reducing the bit rate of audio signals having more than two audio channels. Only those parts of the concerned audio channel are transmitted or stored which are not concealed by the audio signals of other audio channels or which are contained in the audio channels for stereophonic reproduction with all types of reproduction available for selection. In addition, the used parts are transmitted or stored with a resolution only big enough for the totality of all audio channels to keep concealed the quantization noise generated during quantization in all types of reproduction available for selection.
