    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline and higher α-olefin copolymer which is excellent in compatibility with a thermoplastic resin, a lubricant, fuel oil or wax, in mixability with an inorganic filler and in secondary processability and has a small temperature difference between the melting point thereof and the crystallization temperature and to provide a method for producing the crystalline and higher α-olefin copolymer. SOLUTION: The crystalline and higher α-olefin copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing two or more higher α-olefins having ≥10 carbon atoms or one or more higher α-olefins having ≥10 carbon atoms with one or more other olefins and satisfies the following (1) to (3). (1) is that the content of a higher α-olefin unit is ≥50 mole%. (2) is that the melting point (Tm) is 20-100°C when observed from a fusion endothermic curve obtained by using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and holding the copolymer at 190°C for five minutes in a nitrogen atmosphere, lowering the temperature of the copolymer to -10°C at 5°C/minute rate, holding the copolymer at -10°C for five minutes and raising the temperature of the copolymer to 190°C at 10°C/minute rate.
