摘要： Compounds with herbicidal properties should be effective in the smallest possible concentrations and be rapidly biodegradable. The compounds proposed by the invention are intended for use as herbicices and to meet the above requirements. Proposed are compounds of formula (I), in which R1 to R4 are hydrogen or an optionally substituted organic group and Q is an optionally substituted aromatic group. These compounds are readily biodegradable and have herbicidal properties. The compounds are suitable for use as non-selective herbicides or on crop plants, either pre- or post-germination.

摘要： In order to reduce the soot content of a diesel engine's exhaust gas, a fluid containing a peroxide compound, preferably an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution, is fed into the combustion chamber after the start of the injection and combustion of the fuel, preferably following the combustion phase. The diesel fuel is preferably injected in the range 10 DEG +/- 5 DEG before top dead centre and the fluid containing the peroxide compound is fed in the range 5 DEG to 30 DEG after top dead centre. Use may be made for the alternate supply of diesel fuel and hydrogen peroxide of a shared injection nozzle (fig. 1) which supplies one or other of the media depending on the pressure of the diesel fuel and hydrogen peroxide solution supplied.

摘要： The invention relates to novel highly effective activators based on phenolic and enolic O-acyl compounds for peroxo compounds, activator compositions and washing, bleaching, cleaning and disinfecting agents containing these activators. The activator effect of phenolic O-alkanoyl compounds is greatly reduced if the chain of the alkanoyl group contains more than 9 to 10 C atoms. The phenolic and enolic activators of the invention contain the undecenoyl radical or an alkadienoyl group with 5 to 17 C atoms as the O-acyl group. The activator 4-undec-10-enoyl oxybenzole sulphonic acid or a water-soluble salt thereof is substantially more effective than the corresponding activator with an undecanoyl group. Activator mixtures of an activator of the invention and one based on an O-acyl or N-acyl compound exhibit synergistic effectiveness.
