    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a chemical decontamination method like the conventional technique in which a decontamination liquid is filled and forcedly circulated, cannot be applied because an object to be decontaminated which is difficult to compose a closed loop like a nuclear instrumentation housing in a reactor, has no open end, and provide a chemical decontamination method which makes it possible to effectively decontaminate the object to be decontaminated which is difficult to compose the closed loop like the nuclear instrumentation housing in the reactor.
      SOLUTION: An interior pipe is inserted into the nuclear instrumentation piping housing in the reactor from the lower end of it and the decontamination liquid is supplied to a region formed between the interior pipe and the housing to recover the decontamination liquid supplied from the region to the interior pipe. Even the object to be decontaminated which is difficult to compose the closed loop because it has no open end like the nuclear instrumentation housing in the reactor can be decontaminated effectively.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor water recovery device decomposing quickly hydrogen peroxide contained in a nuclear reactor system or in reactor water and returning it to a desired place.
      SOLUTION: This reactor water recovery device 12 wherein a catalyst having high decomposability of hydrogen peroxide formed by carrying a noble metal on activated carbon is installed on a reactor water system pipe 13 between a reactor well 9 and a condensate storage tank 4. When the reactor water is recovered from the reactor well 9 into the condensate storage tank 4, hydrogen peroxide included in the reactor water is decomposed, to thereby store water not including hydrogen peroxide into the condensate storage tank 4. Hereby, even if the reactor water stored in the condensate storage tank 4 is used for washing an ion exchange resin in a condensate purifier 5, there is no possibility of deteriorating the ion exchange resin, and since the reactor water is transferred quickly into the condensate storage tank 4, a periodical inspection time is shortened.
