      SOLUTION: The combustor includes a liquid fuel nozzle 20 jetting liquid fuel into a combustion chamber, a spray air nozzle 21 positioned on an outer peripheral side of the liquid fuel nozzle 20 and spraying spray air for atomizing the liquid fuel, and a swirler 17 supplying combustion air from the outer peripheral side of the spray air nozzle 21 to the combustion chamber. A purge air hole 50 for supplying purge air 104 is provided between a spray air hole 21a and a combustion air hole 24a on a swirler surface 18.
