摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perpendicular recording magnetic head capable of record ing a bit having the reduced bending degree of a magnetization inversion shape, and its manufacturing method, and a magnetic disk device having the same. SOLUTION: In the vicinity of the trailing side of the main magnetic pole floating surface of a perpendicular recording magnetic head, a center part from the corner of the trailing side is positioned in a leading side. That is, the main magnetic pole floating surface is recessed corresponding to the trailing side. Thus, a magnetic field distribution is made linear on the trailing side, in which magnetization inversion is decided. Accordingly, a perpendicular recording magnetic head is provided, wherein simultaneous occurrence of problems such as the increase of the halve value width of a solitary wave caused by a visually large magnetization inversion width when the bit is reproduced, and the narrowing of a recording track width following the increase of a linear recording density are prevented.
