    • PURPOSE:To stabilize the black level of the video signal as well as to delete the low-band conversion noise by constituting the signal process by combining the pre- amplifier which stabilized the video signal DC level in the double feedback way and the automatic fixing circuit of the black level. CONSTITUTION:Pre-amplifier 1 which stabilized the DC level of the video signal receiving the feedback of double feedback level setting circuit 3 and 5 is provided, along with blanking gate circuit 6 which supplies the output of amplifier 1 and the blanking pulse and deletes the noise for the horizontal flyback time of the video signal. In addition , the video signal output of circuit 6 is applied to clamping circuit 7, and the video signal is clamed to the clamping potential. For this clamped signal, the area corresponding to the video signal period of the vertical flyback period is sample-held at sample-holding circuit 8. Then the sample-held signal is compared with reference potential ES through comparison amplifier 9, and the error is fed back to the clamping potential to stabilize the black level as well as to delete the low-band conversion noise.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a flare-correcting pulse at an output terminal by supplying a video signal to the input side of a variable gain control amplifier, by supplying a control pulse and gain control voltage to the gain control terminal, and by operating the variable gain control amplifier only in flyback time. CONSTITUTION:Video signal (a) is supplied to input terminal 1 of a differential variable gain control amplifier and a gain control voltage obtained by dividing the voltage of power source +Vcc and horizontal synchronizing signal HD of the positive polarity as a control pulse are applied to gain control terminal 3. Then, flyback time tb synchronizes with horizontal synchronizing signal HD, so the variable gain amplifier is put in operation only during this period, so that the peak value of blanking pulse Pd at output terminal 2 will increase from (h3) to (h4) in proportion to variations in (h1) and (h2) which correspond to an increase or decrease in the white area of an object. When this pulse is added to the video signal with the opposite polarities, black level BL drops down to a proper value. Consequently, a flare phenomenon due to irregular reflection in an image pickup tube is corrected by one integrated circuit.
