    • PURPOSE:To reproduce accurate information at a receiver side and to build up the system with an inexpensive circuit even when a common clock source is not obtained for both transmission reception in the packet communication system in which a packet is sent in a real time. CONSTITUTION:A packet transmitter 10 uses a prescribed period signal generating circuit 144 to send a prescribed period signal ST synchronously with initial input information after setup with a receiver side equipment. A period display flag TF is fed to a packet composition circuit 130 in response to the signal ST. The packet composition circuit 130 adds a header with a periodic display added to information being a data cell at a real information data generating circuit 120 and sends the resulting packet. Then the prescribed period signal generating circuit 144 generates a period signal ST for each prescribed period regardless of the input of real information and the result is sent as the period packet. The receiver side corrects the generating timing of the recovered clock generated by its own equipment based on the incoming call time of the period packet to take synchronization with the sender side and the information is recovered from the received real information packet.

    • PURPOSE:To detect a consonant effectively by regarding a section other than three sections, derived from the nature of a voice, as a noise section and calculating a zero-cross different frequency threshold value successively from the zero-cross frequency distribution in the noise section. CONSTITUTION:An input sample signal is inputted to a power calculation part 11 and a zero-cross frequency calculation part 21 to calculate power P(i) and a zero-cross frequency Z(i) for each specific block length. The power P(i) calculated by the power calculation part 11 and a power threshold value Pth(i) outputted by a power threshold calculation part 13 are inputted to a detection part 12, which outputs a power detection signal Jp according to the large-small relation between the both. The zero-cross frequency Z(i) which is calculated by the zero-cross frequency calculation part 21 and the zero-cross frequency threshold value Zth(i) which is outputted from a zero-cross frequency threshold calculation part 23 are inputted to a zero-cross frequency detection part 22, which outputs a zero-cross frequency detection accumulation signal Jz according to the large-small relation between the both. Consequently, the constant can be detected without reference to the nature of a noise and without increasing malfunction due to a noise.

CONSTITUTION:An adaptive power threshold updating unit 264 in a presence-of- speech detection part 26 inputs the center clipping detection signal 512 and the double talk detection signal 514 from the coefficient calculator 126 in an echo cancel part 12. When either of the signals 512 or 514 is detected, an adaptive power threshold is not updated. A presence-of-speech decision unit 262 receives the short frame mean power output 700 of a power calculator 260 and the threshold output 702 of the threshold updating unit 264, compares them, and executes presence-of-speech decision. Thus, the noise level can precisely be calculated and presence-of-speech detection with less malfunction with respect to noise is attained.

CONSTITUTION:When an (n) channel voice detecting part 12 detects sound activity, the connection request of an input PCM channel is inputted to an allocation processor 13. The allocation processor 13, when the voice operating ratio of the PCM channel to be connected exceeds the regulated value, reads out the content of an overload allocation table register 24, and updates the content of a priority right allocation table register 13a incorporated in the allocation processor 13 according to the above content. Simultaneously, an allocation message is generated, and an output DSI subburst 103 is formed. In such a way, it is possible to prevent the lockout of the transient voice of the PCM channel having the high priority order from being generated even in a transient overload state.

Data in registers MA9 and MB10 are multiplied by a multiplier 11, and a multiplier upper part output register MC12 or a multiplier lower part output register MD13 is selected, and data of the multiplication result is held in the selected register. Held data is inputted to the RAM15 through a data bus 1. Thus, data Y has bits shifted and is stored in the RAM15.
