    • The present invention provides a cache processing method, a storing and forwarding method and apparatus of hybrid service flows. The cache processing method comprises: configuring at least one port cache area for each input port receiving the hybrid service flows, and configuring at least one type cache area for each service type of the hybrid service flows; storing control information of each data packet into the port cache area of the corresponding port according to a source port of the data packet; and indentifying the service type of the data packet from the control information of the data packet, and storing the acquired control information of the data packet into the type cache area of the corresponding service type according to the service type of the data packet. The present invention allows each type of data packets from each port to have an independent processing procedure.

    • Offline processing and storage of purchases is possible with the tap of a smart card to a contactless device. The smart card transmits its transaction history to the contactless device. The user may deposit funds onto the smart card, wherein the merchant enters the deposit information onto the contactless device and transmits a request to the remote system. The remote system processes the request and transmits a deposit record to the contactless device, which in turn transmits the deposit record to the smart card. The user also may withdraw funds from the smart card, wherein the contactless device determines whether the smart card has a sufficient balance available, by reading the current sum of deposits and the current sum of withdrawals from the smart card. The sum of withdrawals is current on the smart card even if the contactless device does not have network access to the remote system.

    • The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for updating answers with references in forums. In some implementations, a method includes presenting a media item including a question, a box for updating the media item with an answer, and a search field for entering a search query. In response to at least a search request entered in the search field, the search request is automatically executed with a remote search engine. A search result with an associated graphical element configured to update an answer to the question with a reference to the search result is presented. The answer including the search-result reference is automatically updated in response to at least a user selecting the associated graphical element.

    • Seismic survey data is converted into a subsurface data volume that users can view to understand and analyze the subsurface structures in the survey region. At least some of the disclosed systems and methods employ three-dimensional reverse time migration using wave equations adapted for use in formations having tilted transverse isotropy. Relative to existing methods, the disclosed systems and methods rely on fewer approximations and suffer fewer limitations on the circumstances in which they can be employed. Moreover, because the disclosed wave equations are derived from Hooke's law (and consequently they operate on fields that are directly tied to physical quantities), they demonstrate an increased stability relative to existing methods. Survey data analysts employing the disclosed systems and methods should obtain better images of the subsurface and be better able to identify reservoirs and deposits for commercial exploitation.
