    • A black toner composition comprising toner particles prepared by a chemical process of manufacture comprising carbon black pigment, a first addition polymer comprising carboxylic acid groups along the polymer backbone, and a thermoplastic second polymer binder distinct from the first polymer, wherein the first polymer has an Acid Value of from 30 to 220 and is present at a weight ratio of greater than 1:2 relative to the amount of carbon, and at a relatively lower weight percent than the second polymer. A process for preparation of such toner particles comprising: preparing a masterbatch comprising a carbon black and a first addition polymer comprising carboxylic acid groups along the polymer backbone and having an Acid Value of from 30 to 220, where the first polymer is present at a weight ratio of greater than 1:2 relative to the amount of carbon; dissolving a thermoplastic second polymer binder in an organic solvent; adding the masterbatch to the solution of second polymer binder to form an organic phase, wherein the first polymer is present at a lower weight percent than the second polymer; dispersing the organic phase in an aqueous phase comprising a particulate stabilizer to form a dispersion; and removing the solvent from the organic phase to form toner particles comprising the first polymer, the second polymer binder and carbon black.

    • A method for forming a tactile printed image on a receiver medium to convey information to a visually-impaired person from image data having an array image pixels with binary pixel values. The tactile printed image by depositing tactile marking material onto the receiver medium, wherein no tactile marking material is deposited onto portions of the receiver medium corresponding to image pixels having a first state, and tactile marking material is deposited onto portions of the receiver medium corresponding to image pixels having the second state. The receiver medium has a first coefficient of friction, and the portions of the tactile printed image having deposited tactile marking material are raised by at least 20 microns relative to the surface of the receiver medium and have a second coefficient of friction which differs from the first coefficient of friction by at least 0.06.

    • A fluorescing dry toner particle comprises a polymeric binder phase comprising a non-fluorescing binder polymer and a polymeric fluorescing colorant dispersed within the non-fluorescing binder polymer. The polymeric fluorescing colorant comprises a fluorescing moiety that is covalently attached to a colorant polymer that is the same or different than the non-fluorescing binder polymer, but the polymeric fluorescing colorant is blendable with the non-fluorescing binder polymer to form a homogeneous polymeric binder matrix, and is present in an amount of at least 1 weight % and up to and including 40 weight %, based on the total fluorescing dry toner particle weight. These fluorescing dry toner particles can be used in various dry developers to provide fluorescing toner images with or without non-fluorescing color toner images.
