    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and efficiently producing a polyurethane with a narrow molecular weight distribution and a small remaining amount of an organic polyisocyanate. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a polyurethane, a fluid containing an organic polyisocyanate and an active hydrogen-containing compound is passed through a microtubule of a reaction vessel, in which microtubular channels are formed, while the channel is in a liquid-tight pressurized state. It is especially desired that the reaction is performed while the reaction selectivity of an isocyanate group or a hydroxyl group is controlled by continuously controlling Reynolds Number between 5 and 1000.
