摘要： A medical device for delivery of a fluid to a patient from a line terminating in a tubing needle. The medical device includes a cannula assembly for coupling the fluid into a cannula that is inserted into the patient. The cannula assembly has a first locking element disposed in a fixed position with respect to the cannula. Coupling the line to the cannula assembly is an infusion flap. The infusion flap includes a second locking element for engaging the first locking element of the cannula assembly and a lift tab for disconnecting the infusion flap from the cannula assembly. Coupling of the first and second locking elements requires initial mating of the infusion flap and cannula assembly followed by locking through rotation of the infusion flap with respect to the cannula assembly.

摘要： A method is provided for regulating fluid pump pressures by detecting an elevation differential between a fluid flow control device and the distal end of a fluid line in communication with the fluid flow control device. A fluid flow control device, for instance a peritoneal dialysis device, is at a first height, a distal end of a fluid line is at a second height, and a valved outlet, when open, affords communication between the fluid flow control device and the distal end of the fluid line. The elevation differential is correlatable with a pressure measurable during a calibration procedure provided as a part of the methodology.

摘要： Methods and systems are disclosed for pumping fluids at desired average flow rates by applying a predetermined force to a pump chamber and pulsing an outlet valve of the pump chamber to deliver a fluid therefrom. In some embodiments, pump chambers are provided within removable pumping cartridges that are constructed and configured to be coupled to a reusable pump drive component. In other embodiments, the pumping cartridges include multiple pump chambers, which pump chambers are operated so that a pump flow rate of one pump chamber is a predetermined fraction of the pump flow rate of another pump chamber within the pumping cartridge.

摘要： A fold-flat seat recliner mechanism for connecting the seat cushion to the seat back in a motor vehicle includes a lower plate assembly attachable to the seat cushion frame and an upper plate interconnecting the seat back and the lower plate assembly. The upper plate and lower plate assembly are interconnected by a parallelogram linkage that provides a range of reclining positions for the seat back relative to the seat cushion and allows the seat back to be folded flat relative to the seat cushion from any recline angle. During folding, the linkage retains its previous geometry so that the seat back, when unfolded, returns to its previously set recline angle. The mechanism is used in pairs, one on each side of the seat. On one side the recliner mechanism includes a mechanism for adjusting the seat back recline angle and a latch operable to inhibit or allow folding of the seat back.
