    • The present invention is directed to an electrical outlet box assembly for adjustable positioning with respect to a wall stud. An electrical outlet box includes plural side walls defining a box interior having an open front face. A box locator is adjustably positioned on one of the side walls so as to adjust the location of the front face with respect to the stud to which the box locator is mounted. A support bracket is adjustably attached to another of the side walls for supporting the adjustably positioned box with respect to the back wall board.

    • An electrical outlet box assembly provides for the divided accommodation of various voltages of wires and termination devices. The outlet box assembly includes a box housing having a back wall, a perimetrical side wall surrounding the back wall which defines an open front face and a box interior. The back wall includes a plurality of removable ground screws threadedly attached to the back wall. A box divider is insertable into the box interior through the front face. The box divider includes a planar divider wall and a transverse mounting bracket extending from edge thereof. The transverse bracket includes an aperture for allowing mounting of the divider to the back wall of the box using one of the ground screws. The divider wall includes at least one frangible end portion for adjusting the length of the wall.

    • The present invention provides for a protector plate that can be readily secured to furring strips in a manner that reduces and/or eliminates any bowing or deflection of the furring strip during installation. This protector plate is to be located on the furring strip so that its face panel is positioned to protect any service component located there behind from nails, screws or other anchors that may be subsequently driven into the wall. The protector plate contains a front panel having a flange secured thereto with prongs, tabs, sawteeth or other securing assembly jutting or extending from this flange. This securing assembly is designed to penetrate the furring strip along its stronger axis.

    • An electrical box may include a top side and a bottom side that are connected to one another by panels. Each of the top side and bottom side may include a front portion with a side edge, a front edge and a back edge, a back portion with a side edge, a front edge and a back edge, and an angled portion connecting the front portion to the back portion, the back portion being offset with respect to the front portion. The angled portion may include a transition edge that joins the back edge of the front portion to the back edge of the back portion. The transition edge may provide for space for maneuvering the electrical box aligned to a wall stud in a wall assembly out of the wall assembly through a hole in a drywall of the wall assembly.
