摘要： A developing apparatus includes a developing container for containing a developer; a developer carrying member to be rotated while carrying the developer thereon, the developer carrying member being provided in an opening portion of the developer container; and a sealing member which extends in a circumferential direction of the developer carrying member in the vicinity of an end of the developer carrying member and regulates movement of the developer toward the end of the developer carrying member by a magnetic force, the sealing member including an arcuate portion extended along a peripheral surface of the developer carrying member and a non-arcuate portion disposed at an end, in the circumferential direction, of the arcuate portion. An end surface of the arcuate portion of the sealing member on a side where the non-arcuate portion is not provided, is inclined such that a phantom plane including the end surface is closer to the arcuate portion than a center of arcuation of the arcuate portion.

摘要： A part is capable of being retained in a guide for retaining a plurality of such parts in such a manner so as to stack the parts in a direction in which gravity act on the parts and supplying parts to a predetermined position. The part has a plurality of abutment portions which come into abutment with an upper-side part in the guide and support the upper-side part, and a plurality of receiving portions with which a plurality of abutment portions provided on a lower-side part in the guide are brought into abutment. The center of gravity of the part is disposed inside a region surrounded by the plurality of abutment portions. Accordingly, it is possible to convey parts to an assembly line without causing damage to the regions of the parts that are required to have dimensional precision.

The cartridge includes a photosensitive drum; a process device; and a first contact portion provided on a bottom surface of a cartridge frame provided at one longitudinal. The first contact portion is guided by a first assembly side guide when the cartridge is mounted. The cartridge also includes a cartridge coupling disposed above the first portion, the coupling being engageable with an assembly side coupling to receive a rotational force from the assembly; and a second contact portion disposed behind the first portion with respect to the mounting direction. The second portion limits rotation of the cartridge. The cartridge also includes; a positioning portion projected outwardly and provided at the other longitudinal end of the drum, the positioning portion being guided by a second assembly side guide, and being positioned to a second assembly side receiving portion.
