    • A remote control apparatus for controlling a plurality of remote controllable appliances includes a housing, an infrared signal receiving window and an infrared signal transmitting window defined in the housing. The remote apparatus determines the selected appliance and the selected function based upon a wireless signal carrying an identification transmitted by the mobile terminal, determines an infrared remote control code, and emits an infrared signal carrying the infrared remote control code. A light directing element received in the housing directs the infrared signal emitting by the infrared transmitting unit and the infrared remote control signal from the attached remote control to exit the housing through the infrared signal transmitting window, thereby controlling the selected appliance to execute the selected function.

    • A remote control system for remotely controlling a plurality of remote controllable appliances includes a mobile terminal and a remote control apparatus. The remote control apparatus includes a plurality of infrared transmitting modules corresponding to a remote controllable appliances. The mobile terminal generates a wireless signal carrying an identification including information of a selected appliance and a selected function. The remote control apparatus determines an infrared remote control code associated with the selected function, and generates an infrared remote control signal carrying the determined infrared remote control code to be transmitted to the selected appliance by the corresponding infrared transmitting module to execute the selected function.

    • An electromagnetic input device includes a handheld magnetized stylus, an electromagnetic input panel including an induction layer, a controller, and a storage device. The induction layer includes a plurality of closed-loop inductor coils which output an induced current when experiencing the magnetic flux of the stylus. The storage device stores a pre-determined table recording mapping relationship between location coordinates of the stylus on the electromagnetic input panel in each of the inductor coils, and intensities of the corresponding induced current generated therein. The controller determines which inductor coil generates the induced current, and the intensity of the induced current, and further determines the location of the stylus on the electromagnetic input panel based upon determined inductor coil which generates the induced current and the intensity of the induced current generated therein, and the pre-determined table.

    • An electronic device includes a wireless communication unit, a display unit, a processing unit, a storage, a timing unit and an infrared transmitting unit. The wireless communication unit connects to a network and downloads an electronic program list and a plurality of infrared codes from a network. The processing unit generates a channel-infrared code list and a selected program list according to the operations of the users on a user interfaces provided by the display unit and stored in the storage. The processing unit obtains the infrared code corresponding to the channel of a selected program from the channel-infrared code list, and transmits the infrared code to the infrared transmitting unit, thereby the infrared transmitting unit emits infrared remote signals carrying the infrared code to the TV set to change to the channel providing selected program. A related method is also provided.

The hinge is rotatably connected to the first display and the second display. The first sensor is used for sensing the angle which the first display rotates relative to the hinge. The second sensor is used for sensing the angle which the second display rotates relative to the hinge. The comparing unit compares the rotation angles of the first display and the second display to obtain a comparison result. The swipe page unit turns one or more pages based on the comparison result and updates the first display and the second display accordingly. The disclosure also discloses a method of turning pages.

    • An electronic paper device is provided. The electronic paper device includes a touch panel, a conductive layer, a plurality of pixel electrodes, an electrophoretic ink layer, a common electrode layer, and a processing unit. The electrophoresis layer is electrically connected between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the common electrode layer. The conductive layer and the common electrode layer respectively have a different voltage. When the user touches the electronic paper device, causes the touch panel produce a touch signal and the conductive layer contacts a pixel electrode corresponding to the touch position. Then the processing unit determines the touch position according to the touch signal. The pixel electrode obtains the voltage of the conductive layer and an electric field is form between the pixel electrode and the common electrode layer. This causes the color to change at the position that is corresponding to the touched position.
