SOLUTION: This method for producing blast particles coated with titanium dioxide, comprising sintering the titanium dioxide on the surfaces of the blast particles comprising a base material, characterized by continuously allowing a mixture of the blast particles with finely particulate titanium dioxide to pass on the flame of a flame reactor with carrying air, while sintering the titanium dioxide on the surfaces of the blast particles in a temperature range of 600 to 1,200 deg.C for 0.1 to 5 sec.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite powder having a matrix domain structure. SOLUTION: The composite powder has the matrix domain structure in which the matrix is a metal oxide and is present in the form of three dimensional aggregate having ≤250 nm diameter at least in one dimension and the domains consist of metal oxides and/or nobel metals in the matrix of individual metal oxide. In such a case, the domains consist of at least two metal oxides, at least two noble metals or a mixture of at least one metal oxide with at least one noble metal and are nano scale and the composite powder has 60-1,200 m 2 /cm 3 volume-specific surface area. The composite powder is produced by mixing the precursors of the matrix and of the domains corresponding to the subsequently desired ratio with a gaseous mixture containing a combustible gas and oxygen, reacting in the reactor consisting of a combustion zone and a reaction zone, cooling the hot gas and a solid product and separating from the gas. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide range of superparamagnetic oxide particles which can be utilized easily and can be obtained from an inexpensive starting material, and to provide a method of manufacturing the particles and the use of the particles. SOLUTION: The particles are composed of pyrogenic oxide particles which contain superparamagnetic metal-oxide magnetic domains of 3-20 nm in diameters in a nonmagnetic matrix containing a metal oxide or a metalloid oxide and also contain a chloride in amounts of 50-1,000 ppm. The particles are manufactured by a pyrogenic method in which the precursor of the superparamagnetic magnetic domains is mixed with a nonmagnetic metal or the precursor of a nonmetallic matrix in a flame containing air and/or oxygen and the mixture is made to react in the flame. The particles can be used as, for example, a ferromagnetic fluidized material.

摘要： Pyrogenically prepared zinc oxide powder having a BET surface area of from 10 to 200 m 2 /g, which is in the form of aggregates, the aggregates being composed of particles having different morphologies, and 0-10% of the aggregates being in a circular form, 30-50% being in an ellipsoidal form, 30-50% being in a linear form and 20-30% being in a branched form. It is prepared by reacting a starting mixture containing zinc vapour, a combustible gas and steam or a mixture of steam and carbon dioxide in a flame with an oxygen-containing gas in an oxidation zone, cooling the hot reaction mixture in a quenching zone and separating the solid material from the gas stream, the amount of oxygen in the oxidation zone being greater than the amount necessary for the complete oxidation of the combustible gas and the zinc vapour. The zinc oxide powder can be used as a constituent of sun protection compositions for protection against UV radiation.
