摘要： A center load rack and pinion steering mechanism is disclosed. The mechanism comprises a center load steering rack housing mounted to a vehicle frame, with a longitudinal slot through the front surface thereof, the slot being fitted with a bushing of a material that is resistant to damage from heat and bending. A pair of center link mounting bolts secure a center link and a center link pad to the rack wherein the center link pad extends through the bushing such that the upper and lower surfaces of the center link pad engage the upper and lower inner surfaces of the bushing, respectively, to prevent upward and downward movement and twisting of the center link and the center link pad relative to the rack in response to steered wheels of the vehicle contacting rough or uneven terrain while in use to prevent damage to components of the steering mechanism.

摘要： A combustion system and apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus employs a groove-shaped combustion area and a trap composed of a lid and a door. The lid is disposed in communication with the trap and is configured to slide within and over the groove-shaped combustion area during use. Combustion occurs within the groove-shaped combustion area, pushing the trap, whereby a rotor is forced to rotate, conveying power from a combustible material to perform work. As a corollary, the apparatus may be configured for use in the field of air compression and air decompression. Multiple groove-shaped combustion areas may be configured in a parallel or series orientation. Gas compression/decompression only utilizes a single groove, whereas combustion preferably utilizes a compression groove and a combustion groove.

The first nut member and second nut member include threads on an inner surface that correspond to each other when coupled together. The multi-piece nut may also include an aperture formed when the first nut member and second nut member are coupled together. The first and second nut members are coupled around a shock absorber, and the shock absorber extends through the aperture and engages the threads. The nut can then be rotated to adjust the spring of the shock.

摘要： An adsorption filter for removing particulate matter from a fluid includes an outer housing including an upper end, a lower end, and an inner cavity. In addition, the adsorption filter includes a filter assembly disposed in the inner cavity of the outer housing. The filter assembly includes a supply conduit having an inlet end, an outlet end disposed in the inner cavity, and a linear section extending vertically from the outlet end. The supply conduit is configured to flow the fluid into the inner cavity. Further, the filter assembly includes a first pair of filter discs mounted to the linear section of the supply conduit. The first pair of filter discs includes an upper filter disc and a lower filter disc positioned below the upper filter disc. Each filter disc includes a base and a plurality of parallel flow diverters extending from the base. Each base and each flow diverter slidingly engages an inner surface of the outer housing. Each base includes a flow orifice extending vertically therethrough. The flow diverters of the upper filter disc extend downward from the base of the upper filter disc and the flow diverters of the lower filter disc extend upward from the base of the lower filter disc. The flow diverters of the upper filter disc intermesh with the flow diverters of the lower filter disc. An outer surface of each base and an outer surface of each flow diverter is coated in an adhesive configured to capture the particulate matter.

摘要： Embodiments of a hydraulic bump stop assembly may include a telescoping hydraulic cylinder containing hydraulic fluid. The telescoping cylinder may be located on a vehicle shock. Components of the shock may engage and compress the telescoping cylinder during the final stages of compression of the shock to prevent the shock from bottoming out. The telescoping cylinder has damping properties during compression and expansion due to hydraulic fluid being forced through orifices of one or more hydraulic fluid lines to and from a reservoir. Damping ratios may be adjusted by adjusting the size of the orifices. In some embodiments, the damping ratios may be adjusted remotely, such as from the driver compartment of the vehicle.
