    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure which serves as a foundation structure that supports a machine accompanying the generation of vibrations, solves a problem of vibration-related environmental pollution, ensures the precision of machine-used fabrication at low cost, and offers superior constructibility.
SOLUTION: The foundation structure 1 supporting a machine M accompanying the generation of vibrations includes a machine foundation 10 which has a first concrete layer 11 covering a hole G1 formed on the ground G, a styrene foam layer 12 covering the first concrete layer 11, and a second concrete layer 13 covering the styrene foam layer 12 and supports the machine M placed on the upper surface of the second concrete layer 13, and a plurality of piles 20 which are buried in the ground G with their heads joined to the machine foundation 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation pile foundation mechanism, by which a space can be saved while construction cost can also be reduced and the term of works shortened by simply constituting a base isolation mechanism. SOLUTION: The base isolation pile foundation mechanism is buried into a ground and has a pile foundation 3 receiving the load of an upper structure 1. A load receiving section 7 installed between the pile foundation 3 and the load receiving section 7 at an interval and a load transmitting section 6 being mounted on the pile foundation 3 and transmitting a part of the load of the upper structure 1 to the load receiving section 7 are set up near the pile foundation 3, the load receiving section 7 and the load transmitting section 6 are abutted mutually on approximately horizontal planes, and the load receiving section 7 and the load transmitting section 6 can be slid mutually on the approximately horizontal planes. The vibration-isolation pile foundation mechanism has a cylindrical enclosing section 10 fitted between the pile foundation 3 and the enclosing section 10 at an interval so as to enclose the pile foundation 3 and cushioning means 11 being installed between the enclosing section 10 and the pile foundation 3 and cushioning propagation to the pile foundation 3 of vibrations received from a ground by the enclosing section 10. A resin having viscous damping properties is used as the cushioning means 11.
