摘要： In one embodiment, a method for refilling a used ink cartridge includes determining a quantity of ink remaining in an ink holding chamber in the cartridge, determining a desired quantity of ink to refill the chamber based on a difference between a capacity of the chamber and the quantity of ink remaining in the chamber, and refilling the chamber with the desired quantity of ink. In another embodiment, a method for refilling a used ink cartridge includes introducing ink into an ink holding chamber in the cartridge, simultaneously with introducing ink into the chamber, monitoring the level of ink in the chamber, and ending the introduction of ink into the chamber when the level of ink in the chamber reaches a desired level.

Varying the center of rotation, circumferential length, and depth of cam lobes in a cam disk that interacts with the firing trigger via a drive wedge allows optimization. In particular, mechanical advantages during specific firing strokes mitigates increased force to fire at the end effector, enabling a more uniform tactile force at the firing trigger.

摘要： New compositions for forming films for use in optical devices are provided. The compositions comprise a cellulose and a crosslinking agent dissolved or dispersed in a solvent system. Preferred celluloses are cellulose esters such as cellulose acetates, cellulose triacetates, cellulose acetate phthalates, and cellulose acetate butyrates. Preferred crosslinking agents are triazines such as those derived from melamine and benzoguanamine. The inventive compositions can be used to form, for example, protective and/or compensation films for use in polarizing plates.

In particular, the handle produces multiple firing strokes in order to reduce the required amount of force required to fire (i.e., staple and sever) the end effector. A linked transmission reduces the required handle longitudinal length, yet achieves a rigid, strong configuration when straightened for firing. A traction biased firing mechanism avoids binding in driving this straightened linked rack in cooperation with an anti-backup mechanism, with a lockout mechanism that prevents releasing the closure trigger during firing. Furthermore, an external indicator gives feedback to the surgeon as to how far firing has progressed, as well as providing a manual retraction capability.

摘要： A method in a data processing system of tracking tools in a power plant service environment is disclosed where a plurality of power plant facilities (14) are interconnected in a Web-based environment (22) over a communications medium (10) with a tool depot 16 and wherein the tool depot (16) houses a tool inventory (17) used for providing a plurality of service activities to the plurality of power plant facilities (14). The method may include providing (30) a database (20) containing information associated with respective tools in the tool inventory (17) and including in the database (20) information uniquely associated with at least a first tool in the tool inventory (17). The first tool may be assigned (42) to a person at a power plant facility (14) and data may be recorded at the power plant facility that associates the person with the first tool. The method may also include providing (30) a database (20) containing information describing the inventory of tools and providing access to the database to respective end users at each of the multiple power plants via a communications medium. An order for a set of tools may be communicated over the communications medium (36) to a tool depot (16) and a shipping document may then be populated (40) with information relating to shipping the set of tools from the tool depot (16) to a power plant (14). One aspect allows for accessing the database (20) from the power plant (14) so that an end user at the power plant may search the database via in interactive Web page for selecting at least one tool (36) for inclusion in the set of tools. The at least one tool may be selected from the Web page to create the tool order.
