    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device suppressing uneven wear of a disc rotor caused by its partial differences in hardness. SOLUTION: The brake control device 10 controls a breaking force applied to the disc rotor 54 disposed to a wheel. The brake control device comprises: a wheel cylinder 20 to which working fluid is supplied and applies the breaking force to the disc rotor 54 through a friction member; a temperature sensor 60 measuring a surface temperature of the disc rotor 54 to which the friction member is pressed; and an ECU 200 controlling wheel cylinder pressure acting on the wheel cylinder 20 so as to press the friction member against the disc rotor 54, based on the distribution of the measured surface temperatures.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize generation of rust and improve rust elimination control accompanying with it in a rust elimination system for a brake disc.
      SOLUTION: ECU 18 of the rust elimination system for the brake disc forbids rust elimination treatment when generation of the rust can be avoided in an avoidance determination part 34 even when it is temporarily determined that a condition generating the rust on the brake disc 16a is materialized in a condition recognition part 24 and it prevents unnecessary rust elimination control when the vehicle 10 restarts to travel.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acknowledge a position of a gate in casting a raw material of a disc rotor even after completion of machining processes.
      SOLUTION: A bolt hole 54 of a hub bolt, a main gate position indicating portion 56 and an auxiliary gate position indicating portion 58 respectively having the different shapes, are formed on a flange portion 24 of the disc rotor 12. The main gate position indicating portion 56 is disposed on a position of the same phase as the gate in casting, and the auxiliary gate position indicating portion 58 is disposed on a phase position separating from the main gate position indicating member by a set angle. Both gate position indicating portions 56, 58 exist as recessed portions depressed from a machined face of an outer face of the flange portion 24. Both gate position indicating portions 56, 58 are formed on a pitch circle of the bolt hole 54 at an angular interval to allow a position of the gate to be confirmed on the basis of one of the gate position indicating portions which necessarily remains on a position out of the bolt hole 54.
