    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure of a structure of excellent installability.
      SOLUTION: The reinforcing structure 3 is formed by winding a fiber sheet 1 in a tensed state around the peripheral surface of the structure 1 to introduce prestress to the structure 1. Both wound end parts 2a, 2a of the fiber sheet 2 are anchored to the structure 1, while an intermediate part excluding both end parts 2a, 2a is not anchored. The structure 1 is thus reinforced by winding the fiber sheet 2 in the tensed state around the peripheral surface, and since the intermediate part of the fiber sheet 2 is not anchored, time and labor for anchoring can be saved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension applying device for reinforcing material capable of easily applying reinforcing material with tension.
      SOLUTION: This tension applying device 4 is for applying a PBO continuous fiber sheet 3 to a lower surface 1a of an upper structure 1 of a bridge. It comprises a base body 5, a tension device 6, and a first guide rail 7a. The base body 5 is fixed to a lower structure 2 of the bridge. The tension device 6 pulls the PBO continuous fiber sheet 3 on the end side to be tensed. The first guide rail 7a is provided on the base body 5 to guide the tension device 6 to move between a first position where the PBO continuous fiber sheet 3 is separated from the lower surface 1a of the upper structure 1 and a second position where it is applied to the lower surface 1a. The tension device 6 is moved by a screw jack 18 to the first position and the second position to be held at each position.
