CONSTITUTION: A method for installing an optical fiber sensor for settlement measurement is as follows. A tube(12) for covering an optical fiber sensor(10) is prepared. Fixing units(13) are formed in both ends of the tube to connect the tube to the other tube. The front end of the optical fiber sensor is fixed to the tube. The direction of a rope connected to the optical sensor is switched to insert the optical sensor into a measurement hole. After the optical fiber sensor is inserted into the measurement hole, ground settlement is measured.

    • PURPOSE: A safety helmet equipped with a black box is provided to check whether or not a worker wears the helmet at a working area such as a construction site; to be helpful to find the cause of an accident; to protect the privacy of a worker; and to reduce manufacturing costs of the safety helmet. CONSTITUTION: A safety helmet(100) equipped with a black box comprises a body(10) which has a hat shape and a black box(30) which is installed on the body. The black box comprises a sensor which detects whether or not a worker wears the helmet, and vibration which exceeds a fixed level; a camera(32); a data storage which stores images that is taken by the camera; a control unit which controls the camera and the data storage according to a signal of the sensor; and a power supply unit which supplies power to the sensor, the camera, the data storage, and the control unit. A method for using the safety helmet equipped with a black box is as follows: (a)The camera, which is installed on the safety helmet which a worker wears, takes circumferential images, and stores the taken images on the data storage; (b)The helmet is collected after work completion when an image analysis is required such as for checking whether or not the worker wears the helmet, and an accident circumstance in the case of an accident.

The first bar is curved depending on the curvature of the excavated surface of a tunnel. The second and third bars are arranged in an inverse-triangular shape. The lattice joints connect the first, second, and third bars to each other. The contact support members are formed on the tops of the second and third bars and directly touch the excavated surface of the tunnel.
