摘要： PURPOSE: A surge protection device for a communications line is provided to minimize side effect due to a negative resistance characteristic of a discharge element by absorbing an abnormal voltage through an input side filter. CONSTITUTION: An input side filter(310) comprises a first resistor, a second resistor, a first capacitor, and a second capacitor. The first resistor and the first capacitor are serially connected to a high pressure input terminal. The second resistance and the second capacitor are serially connected to a low pressure input terminal. A rectifier(320) rectifies an AC voltage which is applied to the high pressure input terminal and the low input terminal full-wave. A ground part(330) comprises a third capacitor, a fourth capacitor, a fourth varistor, and a fifth varistor. The center point between the fourth and the fifth varistor, the center point between the third and the fourth capacitor are directly connected to the ground terminal.
