    • PURPOSE: An environment-friendly polylactic acid composition is provided to have biodegradability, excellent impact resistance, and high flexural modulus and thermal deformation temperature. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly polylactic acid composition comprises 100.0 parts by weight of poly lactic acid which comprises 40-93 weight% of polylactic acid of L-optical isomer and 3-60 weight% of polylactic acid of D-optical isomer, 3-30 parts by weight of one or more copolymers selected from an acryl-based copolymer and reactive acrylic copolymer, and 1-20 parts by weight of organically surface-treated phyllite powder. The average particle size of the organically surface-treated phyllite powder is 0.5-500 micron. The polylactic acid composition additionally comprises 3-30 parts by weight of impact-reinforcing agent.

    • PURPOSE: A biomass-derived curable compound and a solvent-free curable composition using the same are provided to produce a hardening material with less shrinkage. CONSTITUTION: A biomass-derived curable compound contains biomass-derived furane compounds of 2,5-bishydroxymethylfuran or methylene bis(2-hydroxymethylfuran) and epichlorohydrin. The biomass-derived curable compound is formed by binding of two epoxide functional groups to a furane compound and is denoted by chemical formula III or IV. The biomass-derived curable compound contains sodium hydroxide and phase transfer catalyst(PTC) in a mixture of the furane compounds and epichlorohydrin. The solvent-free curable composition contains the biomass-derived curable compound and a initiator. The inhibitor is cationic curing initiator, photoinitiator, epoxy resin curing agent, or photo cationic polymerization initiator.
