    • PURPOSE: A vibration damping device of a drive shaft is provided to efficiently and actively reduce noise and vibration of a drive shaft by structurally changing a rubber with the change of resistance heat. CONSTITUTION: A vibration damping device(A) of a driver shaft comprises a rubber(100), a pair of masses(200), a bar(300), and a shape memory alloy spring(400). The shape memory alloy spring is installed at both ends of the bar penetrating a connection hole. A flange(220) forming the connection hole is protruded on both sides of the masses. A current flows in the shape memory alloy spring due to vibration of a driver shaft(D) so that resistance heat is generated. The shape memory alloy spring is expanded by the resistance heat, and the masses compress the rubber. The rubber and the masses are changed to perform a role of one mass so that the vibration is decreased.

    • The present invention relates to a vibration damping device for a shaft member to effectively reduce vibration and noise by increasing the weight of a shaft member using a magnetic force and moving a natural frequency to actively avoid a resonance when a resonance is occurred; and operating as a damper when a resonance is not occurred. The vibration damping device for a shaft member comprises a pair of rubber rings on the outer circumference of the shaft member; an electromagnetic housing with both ends joined to the pair of rubber rings and the center with a hollow part in a space between the shaft member and the housing; an electromagnet on the hollow part between the electromagnetic housing and the shaft member; a bolt fixed to each electromagnet through the electromagnetic housing; a leading wire to be electrically connected to each electromagnet; and a spring installed between the bolt and the electromagnetic housing.

The damper includes an elastic block which comprises an outer ring, an inner ring, and an elastic ring. The outer ring is a mass with a predetermined length which is connected to the drive shaft concentrically. The inner ring is arranged concentrically inside the outer ring. The elastic ring is arranged between the inner ring and the drive shaft.
