    • PURPOSE: A method for preparing a hybrid core-shell toner is provided to obtain a toner with excellent adherence in a high speed printing process and a wide temperature region, excellent development stability regardless of ambient environmental change. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a hybrid core-shell toner comprises: (i) preparing a colored resin dispersion composition; (ii) injecting the dispersion composition in an aqueous medium of pH 1~5 to prepare colored resin microparticle composition; (iii) adding an ethylenic vinyl-based monomer to the composition of step (ii) to prepare monomer droplets in which a shell is formed on the surface of a core; (iv) forming a colored toner microparticle composition of a polyester core-ethylenic vinyl copolymer resin shell structure; and (v) mixing hydrophobic silica and hydrophobic titanium oxide with the composition of step (iv).

A method for preparing a phosphorus-containing polyol includes the steps of: (a) adding a depolymerization agent to a de-polymerizable polymer, and de-polymerizing the polymer to prepare a de-polymerized composition; (b) adding a polybasic acid and a polyhydric alcohol to the de-polymerized composition, and performing polycondensation to prepare a de-polymerized oligomer composition; and (c) adding a phosphorus compound to the composition of the step (b) to prepare the phosphorus-containing composition.

    • PURPOSE: A toner for electrostatic development and its preparation method are provided, to obtain low softening point and low melting viscosity and improve offset resistance even in high rate development and fixation. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing a linear low molecular weight polyester resin having a carboxyl group at the end; preparing a crosslinked polyester resin having a carboxyl group at the end; neutralizing the polyester resin and adding water to the polyester resin to prepare a polyester resin aqueous solution; preparing a crosslinked ethylenically copolymerized latex; adding a colorant, a charge control agent and a releasing agent to the polyester resin aqueous solution and applying high shear force to mix it to prepare a coloring resin dispersion; adding a colorant, a charge control agent and a releasing agent to the polyester resin aqueous solution, applying high shear force to mix it and mixing the coloring resin dispersion with the latex to prepare a coloring resin dispersion; adding the two coloring resin dispersion in an aqueous solution containing an acidic compound, respectively, applying high shear force to reverse neutralize them to generate toner particles, and heating the toner particles to stabilizer it; filtering and washing the toner particles and vacuum drying it; and adding hydrophobic silica or hydrophobic titanium dioxide to the toner particles and mixing them.

    • PURPOSE: Provided is a preparation method of electrostatic charge developing toner which produces toner particles having the fine particle diameter and the narrow distribution in a high yield. The produced toner is also stable at the image level, does not generate a fog, has the excellent offset resistance, is not deteriorated even after long term usage and produces a high quality image. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of electrostatic charge developing toner includes steps as follows: (I) preparing resin compositions having carboxyl group in molecule as the linear oligomer by the solution polymerization method and then vacuum decompressing to remove the solvent completely, (II) neutralizing the resin compositions by adding a basic compound and adding distilled water thereto to produce water-soluble resin compositions, (III) separately preparing a crosslinked polymer latex(number average molecular weight of 50,000 to 300,000 and gel content of 10 to 70 wt.%), (IV) adding colorant, charge controller and release agent to the product of step(II) and applying the high shear force to disperse it, (V) further adding the product of step(III) to the colored resin dispersion of step(IV) and mixing and dispersing it, (VI) charging the resin dispersion of step(IV) and (V) to a reactor with an acidic compound containing aqueous solution while suspension treating accompanied by de-neutralization to granulate it and heat stabilizing to produce toner particles, (VII) filtering and washing the toner particles 2 or 3 times and vacuum drying to prepare colored toner particles compositions, and (VIII) adding 1 to 5 wt.% of external additives to 100 wt.% of the colored toner particles compositions and mixing to prepare the electrostatic charge developing toner.
