    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compost disaster-stricken trees at site and directly reuse the compost as a vegetation base material.SOLUTION: In the slope greening method, trees that fell and slipped down due to failure of a slope 32 are used as a raw material, the raw material is crushed into a chip state by a crusher 2 to produce primary crushed chips 3, loosening treatment is performed to the primary crushed chips by a treatment apparatus 4, bacterial cells which cause microbial decomposition in treated chips 5, which were obtained immediately after the loosening treatment ended, and a nutrient material for the cells are added to the treated chips to make composting chips 6, and the composting chips are mounted and cured in a composting yard 7 to produce compost. And then, the compost is stirred and mixed by a spray machine 33 together with other vegetation base materials such as plant seeds, water, and adhesive to produce vegetation base material slurry, the vegetation base material slurry is forcibly fed to the vicinity of the slope 32 via a spray hose 34, and the slurry is then sprayed on the slope 32 via a spray nozzle 35 attached to the tip of the spray hose 34, by which vegetation foundations 36 are formed on the slope in a laminated manner.
