摘要： A nylon 11 composite system has significantly improved flexural modulus while keeping or even increasing the impact strength. This composite system may comprise a nylon 11/filter/modifier. The flexural modulus and impact strength increases over 150% and 80%, respectively compared with neat nylon 11. The “ball” portion of badminton shuttlecocks made by this type of composite may more closely duplicate the flight capabilities of natural duck feather shuttlecocks than nylon 11. The nylon 11/filler/modifier ay allow for a very close duplication of the restoration effects of shuttlecocks made from feathers therefore providing a product which can be a one for one aerodynamic performance substitution for the natural product (feathers).

The CNTs grown on the first substrate are immersed in a biological solution at a predetermined depth to functionalize ends of the CNTs with a biological molecule. The functionalized CNTs are harvested from the first substrate. A second substrate is functionalized with a complementary biological modification, which is a complementary binding partner to the biological molecule functionalized to the ends of the CNTs. The functionalized CNTs are attached to the second substrate by way of the complementary binding partner.

摘要： Embossed microstructures within a substrate are used to create narrow and deep holes within that substrate. A carbon nanotube solution or mixture is then deposited over this substrate with the embossed holes. Shaking or vibrating the substrate will then cause the carbon nanotubes to fall into each of the holes in such a way that all of the nanotubes within a hole will be substantially parallel to the long axis of the hole. This structure can then be combined with a gate electrode and an anode to create a field emission display device.

Then, an insulating layer is deposited onto one side of a mesh foil to form a mesh assembly. This entire triode cathode assembly can then be used to produce a field emission display device by including an anode structure.
