摘要： A surgical device for stapling and fastening body tissues, comprises an insertion section extending from an operation section for insertion into a body cavity, stapling member connected to a distal end of the insertion section, for treating body tissues with a high-frequency current within a body cavity. The stapling member includes an anvil and a cartridge between which the tissues are sandwiched, and a cutter. Staples are applied to the anvil from the cartridge for stapling the tissues and the cutter cuts the tissue while it applies a high-frequency current thereto.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a surgical device for applying surgical fasteners to body tissues in order to fasten the body tissues together. The device comprises an operation section having a housing having an inner space completely sealed from the outside, drive elements electrically driven and arranged in the inner space of the operation section, an insertion section including a housing which has a first end portion containing the fasteners and having an opening through which the fasteners are to be applied, and a second end portion removably coupled to the housing of the operation section, fastener-applying elements located in the housing of the insertion section, for applying the fasteners from the opening to body tissues, and force-transmitting elements for transmitting drive force from the drive elements to the fastener-applying elements.

摘要： A surgical instrument for fastening together opposing portions of a body organ. The instrument comprises a first support for supporting the first opposing portion of the body organ, a second support opposing the first support, for supporting the second opposing portion of the body organ, and a displacement-preventing member connected to the first or second support for preventing the supports from displacing relative to each other. The member comprises a pin protruding from one of the supports and a hole formed in the other of the supports. The pin is made of thermoplastic resin. When heated, the pin is softened and deformed, whereby the first and second supports are secured to each other, fastening together the opposing portions of the body organ.
